The Los Lecheros Elevator, inaugurated in 1906, is shown to the city through a sign that announces access to it through Eusebio Lillo Street (Quillota passage) in the Valparaíso plan, and during its journey it offers beautiful views of the port.
Its presence is key in the general context of the city, since it shows its upper station suspended on the hill, as well as the Barón and Larraín elevators, thus forming a beautiful and homogeneous complex in the northern sector of Valparaíso.
Access to this elevator is quite difficult to locate, as its lower façade follows the building lines of the rest of Eusebio Lillo Street, very busy and noisy, so, in addition to the sign that announces it, its rails perched on the hill help locate the place of entry.
The arrival towards its upper destination is lateral, bordering a house on the hill, and its access appears as an open corridor that leads to the station in the upper part. When arriving from the elevator to the Lecheros hill, a dark space is presented, a closed corridor that little by little opens towards the outside, leading the passenger to their final destination.

There are several alternatives to get to Valparaíso:
By bus
The trip takes 1 hour 45 minutes from Santiago. Existing departures with a frequency of 15 minutes, the bus companies offer a good level of service and comfort.
By car
For those who wish to arrive by car from Santiago, they should take Route 68, the estimated travel time being 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Its construction, made of wood covered with calamine, has a great urban presence from the plan, and manages to become a benchmark for the Barón Station and Argentina Avenue sector.
Meanwhile, its route is carried out between several houses that are configuring an attractive urban fabric around the elevator, until it reaches the highest part.
It is characterized by its upper station leading to a pedestrian walkway that connects it to the hill.
