The Church of Our Lady of the Mercedes of Papudo was inaugurated in 1918. In neocolonial style, it is the work of the architect Alberto Cruz Montt.
Other interesting decorative elements are the eaves canopies, carved in wood. The roof is built by small wooden tiles.
