The Eduardo Ribeiro Museum, operates in a beautiful mansion located on Rua José Clemente, an area close to two of the most important historical buildings in the city of Manaus, the Palace of Justice and the Amazonas Theater.

In the place, they say that lived one of the most endorsed politicians in the history of Amazonas, responsible for the urban transformation of Manaus during the obtaining of great economic revenues originated from the golden period of rubber.

The Casa Museum takes us to a very special time in the city. It has three floors and on the first two we can see in the various built environments, the refined way that the wealthy families lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The furniture was acquired in antique shops and there are practically no personal objects by Eduardo Ribeiro. It is not surprising, after all, even his death was never clarified, leaving doubts about the possibility of murder or suicide.
