It was built in 1942. The buildings, dating from 1942 and 1945, that make up Plaza Perú constitute a unique harmonious ensemble in the city of Concepción. On its ground floor it has a portal called ‘El Portal de la Plaza Perú’, which constitutes one of the most significant public spaces in the city. It has a beautiful water source that marks a centrality. This square constitutes an identifying urban landmark of the Concepción.
It is located between Chacabuco and Diagonal Pedro Aguirre Cerda.

By plane
Daily flights depart from Santiago at the Arturo Merino Benítez Airport. The duration of the flight is 1 hour.
By car
It can be reached from Chillán to the southwest by Route 5 South, it is 15 km., And then to the west by Route 152. In total there are 112 km. on asphalt road.
It can be reached from Los Angeles to the north by Route 5 south to the town of Cabrero and from there to the northwest. In total there are 130 km. on asphalt road.
By bus
Buses leave every 1 hour from the main terminals in Santiago, the trip takes 6 hours. From regions there are daily departures, you should check with the respective road terminals.
In front of it is also the art house of the University of Concepción, which contains a famous mural where the Latin American presence is found.
