In the park, paths have been designed that allow the appreciation of the reforestation work with typical wood species and wild shrubs. One of the most attractive places is a small shallow lagoon where Amazonian fish and aquatic plants such as Victoria Regia are observed.

The park houses the Ucayali Regional Museum, which preserves some representative species of local flora and a large collection of fossil remains found in the Ucayali, Pachitea, Aguaytía and Urubamba rivers.

It is located 4.2 kilometers from the city of Pucallpa. It has an area of 171 hectares. It was bred to protect and conserve various animal species such as: monkeys, lizards, otorongs, deer, sajinos, anujes, otters, taricayas, herons, toucans, parrots and other endangered or endangered species.

One of the most attractive parts is the jaw of a large lizard or megateria that inhabited the Amazon for about 10 million years.

The museum has other rooms, one dedicated to displaying cultural samples of ethnic groups in the region, such as traditional clothing or some Shipibo-Conibo pottery from different eras.

In another setting, works by Peruvian sculptor Felipe Leterstten are featured, characterized by the capture of daily attitudes of indigenous groups.
