This hill covers an area of 3000 m2 and is located in the central grid of the city. It corresponds to a portion of land belonging to the old and extensive cordon that limited the city to the west. At present it is a space for recreation and rest, developed with gardens, walks and viewpoints, surrounded by a stone masonry wall that delimits it in its entirety. It is located at a height of 30m in height, which gives it the status of a viewpoint, highlighting its main access through a portal in the ochavo.

By plane
Daily flights depart from Santiago at the Arturo Merino Benítez Airport. The duration of the flight is 1 hour.
By car
It can be reached from Chillán to the southwest by Route 5 South, it is 15 km., And then to the west by Route 152. In total there are 112 km. on asphalt road.
It can be reached from Los Angeles to the north by Route 5 south to the town of Cabrero and from there to the northwest. In total there are 130 km. on asphalt road.
By bus
Buses leave every 1 hour from the main terminals in Santiago, the trip takes 6 hours. From regions there are daily departures, you should check with the respective road terminals.
The patrimonial interest, in addition to its landscape beauty, is reinforced by being the scene of the Gavilán Combat on May 5, 1817, where the patriotic forces faced the royalists for the possession of the city during the war for Independence.
